October 13 , 2008: Hey Everyone! I'd like to give an update on a few exciting things that have happend recently. I entered a contest through Talent Quest and was chosen for first place in the Regional Competition in my catagory to represent Florida in the Nationals which were held in Laughlin Nevada. I won a free trip out there and spent eleven woderful days with all my friends I met in Yabor City, fl. who also won regionals. A very big thanks to Talent Quest Florida, Owners Phil Garris and Steve Blanchard. After it was all over with I had come in 6th place. I was just happy to have the chance to compete with such fine talented people. I was also in a Talent Contest in Belleiview, Fl. Oct. 4th and won the grand prize. The band I sing with called Smooth Sensations, was at Jazz Up Dunnellon Oct. 11th and we had a great time! You can search for Smooth Sensations on My Space for some pics. & video. I also had the privilage of singing a few songs with my brother Jimmy Smith (Elvis Impressionist) at the Reddick Community Center, for a charity event sponsored by The Reddick Methodist Church.
